Whew

Okay well maybe now things will slow down just a bit...the weird thing is I can't put my finger on exactly what has been keeping me so busy lately, but I've been strung completely out. Two weeks ago the kids and I spent an entire week really sick. Strange how that can happen - just take a whole week out of your life to sit around the house...home from work and school...sitting around waiting to feel better. I'm really glad that is over at least. At the same time we're having somebody finish the work that the last carpenter left undone. Hopefully by the end of this week it will be finished...almost. We've still got to come up with a plan to surround the foundation of the addition; not sure what to do there but we'll see. There's plenty to do before we have to tackle that one. But the house is looking a whole lot better from the back; and there were a ton of problems on the roof that had to be fixed.

We took a few days last week to visit my Nana (aka Beanbah) for her birthday and that was fun. The rest of the family went on to Cincinatti for a ball game, but my kidoes and I stayed over in Louisville instead to play in the pool. So anyway, that was fun.

I'm still working on the bed - one of the carpenters thinks he's got a staircase that I can use for it, so I'm not doing anything more until I know whether it will work or not. But here is a pic of it so far.

I've got several pics of mom's house in progress - I think I'll create a slideshow on Myspace and put them all there instead of loading this blog down with them, so hopefully this afternoon I'll get that put on there.

I guess that's really it for now - I'm definitely having a Monday here at work and I'm about to go homicidal...keep an eye out on the headlines for me.
