Sorry it's been so long - we've been a bit busy lately, and with the computer breaking down and getting a new one I just haven't had the chance to load pictures recently. This past weekend we finally got to take a trip to see Beanbah and Grape, and we had a really good time! Not for sure how much help we actually were in getting things in order, but it was nice to hang out with them anyway.

The kids love to explore through Beanbah's toys, and Avril had a great time with her new interest, Barbies! I think every girl in this family has played with the same ones.

And boys will be boys...

The hanging of the cabinet was a bit funny, I had to share this pic. Poor Grape beat up his hand so badly on this project! Avril made sure he had bandaids on though; she is obsessed with bandaids.
Since getting back I have been working busily on the bathroom, seeing as it is pretty important to have a toilet in the house. On Sunday we sent the kids to church with nana and papa, and replaced the rotten section of floor and hung the last piece of drywall.

Monday we installed the new flooring and got the wainscoating up behind the toilet and re-installed the toilet only to find we have a leak in the water valve. So then after things have been going so well for two days, I have water dripping everywhere and still no toilet. My brother-in-law is who has been running the actual plumbing for me, so he came over to try to fix it and in the process we got a leak in the interior plumbing in the wall to the sink. :( Luckily he was able to cut into the wall through the part that is covered up by the sink cabinet so it wasn't a big deal too much, so until he gets off work today and we can work on it again, it is just capped off.

Anyway, hopefully soon we'll have a new valve to the toilet and apparantly to the sink too, and I can continue putting up wainscoating and finishing the mudd. I've still got to put up the new shower walls and run the lines back in before we can use the tub again. But now that demolition is all done and we are to the point of rebuilding, I can see light at the end of the tunnell and that makes me very happy. The rest of my house is a disaster and I'm almost at the end of my rope because I can't even get to any surfaces to clean them!
