At Beanbah's

We had a great time with Beanbah and Grape! A quick visit unfortunately, but great nonetheless. The kids loved playing with the dolls and the other toys we found in the top of the barn. Avril calls it the farm, lol. We put together puzzles and ate a few pints of fresh strawberries. We'll be going back as soon as we can. And I'm hoping the berry plants I brought home!

The Graduation

This would have been a really cute picture if it was in focus.
Josh was attempting bunny ears but I was too quick.
I thought this one was cute.
Yum, chinese on the way to the ceremony.
This is Kelly being cute. She couldn't get her can of silly string open. lol.
So pretty with her flower.
Avril loves Missy.
Leah and BJ. I miss her and wish I could see her more.

I wasn't aware until right as I was going to Beanbah's, that Kelley was graduating high school that evening, so we were glad to be there! Luckily it was held in a gym so the kids didn't really have to sit still and be quiet, lol. There were something like 140 kids graduating that night! I couldn't believe the crowd. At the end all the graduates unleashed their silly string, but Kelley couldn't get her can open. It was pretty funny.

The Party

Saturday was Kelley's party and Uncle Butch (Fancypants) and Aunt Tammy and Ronnie came in. The theme was music and it was very cute. I tried to get pictures of everybody in the family to represent to all you out there in cyberspace what you missed. Kelley won so many scholarships! It is amazing what a fabulous women she's grown up to be; we're all very proud of her.

Party!

Well the party went off successfully and Avril had a really good time! It was really great to have family and friends around. And she fell in love with everything as soon as she saw it - especially the pink princess costume. We had to have a major discussion this morning as to why she couldn't wear it to church, but I think she understands now, lol. Missy had given her a Dora house set so we put that up inside and between it and the swingset the kids had a really great time. There's not really a bunch to tell about the party - we ate, gave tours of mom's house, opened presents and ate cake and berries (yum!). All of the kids had a good time. Gotta go...princess calling from bed.

Lizzards Don't Like Peanut Butter

Avril caught a lizzard Saturday. I think it wasn't fully alive when she got it because it didn't scurry away like they normally do, but it was alive enough to walk around a bit and they had a great day together. It died after an hour or so but she thought it was just sleeping. The whole thing was completely disgusting but if you know Avril, you know she loves everything crawly and I just couldn't break her heart and take it away. There was a point in the afternoon where Avril and lizzard were making a beeline to lunch and the phrase "lizzards don't like peanut butter" was the quickest thing I could think of to keep her at bay. The obsurdity of it was hilarious and mom and I didn't stop laughing for quite some time. I'm sure it is one of those things you had to be there for. We had to put lizzard outside during the party and afterward he played on the swingset with her and luckily got lost in the grass. She cried for a long time but today she hasn't mentioned it.

And here it is completed. Except I need some sort of art above the toilet, window coverings, and still need to hang a towl ring somewhere near the sink.
