Well we've been a bit busy this week, and it isn't going to get any slower for about a month. This past weekend we spent alot of time just playing around and having fun. Friday evening we spent time at a friend's house for game night; Saturday we met

another friend I haven't seen in two months at McD's for brunch and playground time then did some Christmas shopping then attended an auction at which the children jockeyed racing elephants. I might have to explain that one, and I hate it I had forgotten to bring my camera...the Republican women hosted an auction and at it they had wooden elephants on caster wheels that people had sponsered for a few races. Each one had a jockey and there was someone rolling dice and they moved up on spaces. Alex won his race; Avril didn't win hers, but they both rode together on

the last one and won that one too! They had a really good time, and hopefully I will get a copy of some pics from a lady that was there...we'll see. Anyway, Avril left Sunday with my mom for a trip to Branson to Grammi's house. They'll be back on Thursday. Till then I'm trying to be a big girl and focus my nervous energy on extra attention on Alex. He's enjoying being the only child for awhile.
This coming up Saturday we're looking forward to Autumn Jubilee in Benton - mom and I have been put in charge of children's games, so that should be fun.

Mom's house is coming along well. Drywall is finished and the painters will be in there this week. Then comes the floors, then cabinets and appliances and bathroom

fixtures. That'll be when it really starts to look like a house. They are still looking at moving mid-December.
